Last Thursday’s daily painting: I was tasked with painting a theme for Art Tag, Dreams. I chose a wonderful day on Lake Minnetonka this summer and was inspired by colorful boats. ⛵️

Wednesday’s daily painting: I was inspired by Joan Mitchell’s Chord X.

Monday’s daily painting: just going with the flow and digging this super old timey tune. It makes me think of my dad 😢. He loved the music of the 1920s. 🍸

Thursday’s daily painting: I’ve been using a women’s clothing catalog as inspiration for layout and colors. This is a great way to loosen up the mind before digging into bigger and deeper work.

Wednesday’s daily painting — it’s been a few days since I’ve posted because I haven’t been getting into the studio. I’ve been cooking, eating, fasting, going to synagogue, and atoning for my sins. Somewhere in there, I also played Anagrams with formidable opponents!

Thursday’s daily painting! I love how painting these quick ones prepares me for a longer, more intense painting session with deeper work. Keep tuned for those pieces soon. I may sprinkle a few my feed soon!
